Springtime in the Rockies

There's a lovely old song (from the 1940's) called "When it's Springtime in the Rockies". I don't know the words, so I don't know if it's about the weather, but I thought I would show you all springtime in the Rockies, at least in our neck of the woods (no pun intended). We had a doozy of a snowstorm over the weekend (I know, it's April, right?!) and this is what was left behind: (Above, the backyard, below, the front yard.)

24 hours later, here is the front yard:

















And here is the backyard. Rather hard to plan for outdoor events because you never know what the weather is going to do.
But there are budding leaves on the trees, so Spring is definitely on the way.
